Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi!
After clearing customs, please proceed to the exit gate, where your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. If you have trouble locating the driver, kindly visit the airport information desk and call the number provided on your confirmation voucher for assistance.
You will then be transferred by private car to your hotel in the Old Quarter.

Day 2: Hanoi City Highlights

Start with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology to learn about Vietnam’s rich cultural diversity, then head to the Temple of Literature – an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. Enjoy lunch at KOTO Restaurant, a longtime partner of Intrepid that follows the philosophy of "Know One, Teach One." This inspiring venue supports underprivileged youth by training them for careers in the hospitality industry.
In the afternoon, hop on a cyclo to explore Hanoi’s famed Old Quarter, known for its "36 Streets of 36 Wares" – a historic maze of lanes named after the artisan guilds that date back to the 13th century.
Conclude your day with an entertaining water puppet show, a unique art form from northern Vietnam. Originating in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta, these performances use colorful wooden puppets to portray scenes of rural life and national legends, all set to traditional music.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh ( Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Caves)

Today, Travel by air-conditioned bus from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

  • Visit Dinh king Temple and Le king Temple from the 10th century, and hear about the heroic histories of the two Kings during the Chinese Wars. At midday, sit down for lunch with Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
  • Continue to Tam Coc and take the sampan go (traditional river boat) along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc's three caves. Head back to Tam Coc wharf, take your bicycle, and cycle around traditional villages and Tam Coc town.
  • Visit Mua cave, which attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps to see all the way to Tam Coc, and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.

In the evening, return Ha Noi.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive along the coastal road to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, board your cruise and admire the breathtaking seascape of limestone karsts rising dramatically from emerald waters.
As the cruise sets sail toward a more secluded area, enjoy lunch onboard. Later, paddle through striking karst formations by kayak—a fantastic way to experience the bay’s natural beauty up close. Return to the boat for some relaxing onboard activities and take in the spectacular sunset before dinner is served.

Day 5: Halong - Hanoi - Flight to Da Nang

Start your day with a peaceful Tai Chi session, followed by a light breakfast on board.

Day 6: Hoi An City Tour – Lantern Making Workshop

In the morning, explore the ancient town of Hoi An and its iconic landmarks, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Stroll through the vibrant central market before visiting a family-run workshop, where a skilled artisan will guide you in creating your own traditional lantern—a memorable keepsake to take home. Enjoy green tea and local sweets during the experience.

Day 7: Amazing My Son Holyland Sunset Tour

13:00–17:00: Pickup & Join the tour
Our Minivan and tour guide pick you up at your hotel lobby and go to My Son Sanctuay.
check in and the electric car will transfer you for a distance and you will have 2 hours to discover the site by walking through the landscape, exploring Champa cultures and the remaining structures with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances (Apsara Dance)
Transfer to the wharf for taking a boat trip to Hoi An with a nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in Vietnam Central named Thu Bon River.
Brunch time: Eating the “Banh Mi” – a special Vietnamese food.

Day 8: Hoi An – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City – Saigon Sunset Cruise

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel.
Saigon Sunset Cruise
Discover a different side of Saigon as you cruise along the scenic Saigon River at sunset. Departing by speedboat in the late afternoon, leave the bustling city behind and glide past Saigon Newport—the country’s largest container terminal. Admire the city’s iconic bridges, including Thu Thiem and Saigon Bridge, connecting downtown with the tranquil District 2.
The cruise circles Binh Thanh Island, often called the “Green Lung of Saigon,” where palm trees and rice paddies remain untouched despite the city’s rapid growth.
