Your Vietnam adventure begins with your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will then escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city. Once you have checked in to your room, you can explore the city on your own or relax at the hotel.

From Saigon, take a 2hr drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and housed hospitals, food and weapons caches. Touring the underground compounds will provide a better understanding of the history of the tunnels, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat.

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh and head towards Ben Tre. Our journey will include a boat trip along the Mekong River, during which we will visit a family-run business that exemplifies the idyllic rural lifestyle. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the fruit plantation village.

Around 6.30am, we pick you up to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at its busiest at this time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta.

Break for lunch then return to Ho Chi Minh.

This day is yours to enjoy the splendors of Bali as you desire, whether by basking in the tropical sunlight atop the white sand shoreline or traversing the galleries of the Museum Pasifika, home to thrilling assortment of artists and artifacts depicting the historical significance of Indonesian art and works inspired by the culture and landscape. For a unique view of Balinese history, you could venture to Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave.
