Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival
You'll land in Hanoi and connect with your guide at the airport for the drive to your hotel. From there, the rest of the day is yours to recover from travel or wander around the hotel area. By evening, you'll get transferred out to a countryside restaurant where the welcome dinner kicks off your trip.

Day 2: Hanoi City Sunset Tour By Jeep
You have three timing options for exploring Hanoi.
- Morning tour runs from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM with lunch included.
- Afternoon tour goes from 12:30 to 5:00 PM with lunch at the start.
- Sunset and night tour happens from 5:00 to 9:30 PM with dinner at the end.
Whichever you pick, you'll see hidden backstreets, alleyways, local homes, schools, and busy markets. Key spots include Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, old temples like Tran Vu, the calm Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Opera House, and the historic Long Bien Bridge.
You'll also go out to the city edges to see village life, and finish with a Jeep ride that covers Hanoi's history, culture, and food scene.

Day 3: Hanoi - Travel to Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay
After breakfast you'll head to Halong Bay and board a small junk cruise around noon. You'll swim in the waters at Tra Bau in Lan Ha Bay and try your hand at activities like cooking demonstrations and squid fishing. Meals and drinks happen right on the boat while you take in the scenery around you.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Travel back Hanoi - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City
Early on you'll kayak through the Ao Ech area to see what Lan Ha Bay has to offer beyond the main routes. After brunch you'll head back to Hanoi and catch a flight down to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land, your guide will meet you and get you to the hotel.

Day 5: Explore Cu Chi Tunnels
You'll start the day on a speedboat heading to Cu Chi Tunnels, watching the landscape shift from city to jungle as you go. Then you'll explore the tunnels and learn about Vietnam's history. In the afternoon you'll check out Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and Reunification Palace. Before the day ends, you'll visit the War Remnants Museum to see military equipment and artifacts from the war.

Day 6: Mekong Delta Discovery Full Day
You'll drive out to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta where you can see paddy fields, tropical fruit orchards, stilt houses, and fish farms. A motorboat takes you through the waterways to floating markets, then you'll have a quieter sampan ride on the canals. By late afternoon you're back in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City - Flight to Siem Reap
You'll head to the airport and fly to Siem Reap. When you arrive, your local guide will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel where you can settle in.

Day 8: Siem Reap Angkor Temples
You'll explore the Angkor temple complex and cross the ancient moat to get into Angkor Wat. Then you'll walk through Angkor Thom considering what the Khmer Empire built. Next comes Bayon temple with its famous smiling stone faces, followed by Ta Prohm where nature has taken over with massive trees and roots growing through the structures. You'll also see Preah Khan with its intricate details and size.

Day 9: Banteay Srei Temples
You'll visit Banteay Srei, which is considered one of the finest examples of Khmer art and architecture. Then you'll stop at the Land Mine Museum to understand Cambodia's ongoing mine clearance work. After that you'll explore Banteay Samre, which fewer tourists visit. The day ends with a quad bike ride through the countryside timed to catch the sunset.

Day 10: Siem Reap - Flight to Bangkok
You'll fly to Bangkok and meet your guide and driver at the airport for transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or checking out the area around your hotel at your own pace.

Your Bangkok day starts at Wat Pho temple in the morning when sunlight hits and monks are chanting. From there you'll visit the Grand Palace, then take a long-tail boat through the canals to reach Wat Arun. Later you'll walk through the busy China Town market to see a different side of the city and how it operates day to day.

Day 12: Bangkok - Flight to Chiang Mai
You'll travel north to Chiang Mai with private airport transfers arranged in both cities. This part of Thailand has its own character and things to see that differ from Bangkok.

You'll wake early to join locals in an alms-giving ceremony for a real cultural connection. Then you'll drive to Doi Suthep to visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple which holds a lot of significance. You'll walk through the historic Wat Chedi Luang that once held the Emerald Buddha. To finish, you'll spend time at Wat Suan Dok, a quiet temple with nice gardens where monks chant daily.

Day 14; Chiang Mai
You'll spend half the day at Kanta Elephant Sanctuary helping care for the elephants. You'll see them roaming and learn about each one's background. You'll watch them eat, play with each other, and get muddy as part of their natural skin care. Then you'll walk with them to a river where you can watch or join in as they wade, play, and swim.

Day 15: Time to say goodbye - Chiang Mai Departure

- To book a trip with VNA Travel DMC, you will need to pay a 20% deposit.

- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC allows you to make 45 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 45 days before the start of the tour.
- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform Vietnam Asia Travel DMC, 30 days before departure.
- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.
- We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of Vietnam Asia Travel DMC charges.
