Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Check-in starts at 2:00 PM, so you'll have time to settle in after traveling. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting acclimated to the city.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Your day starts early with a hotel pickup in Ho Chi Minh City, then you'll head out to the Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the underground network from the war era. You can walk through military facilities, living quarters, and see the defensive systems that were built there.

After having lunch with local Vietnamese food, you'll take a boat on the Tien River to visit the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. From there, you'll ride a traditional sampan through narrow canals, stop by a coconut candy workshop to see how it's made, and try seasonal fruit with honey tea. Before heading back to the city in the evening, there's a folk music performance to catch.

Have breakfast at your hotel, then enjoy some free time before heading to Tan Son Nhat International Airport. You'll fly to Da Nang and meet your driver for the transfer to your hotel. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM.

Your afternoon starts with a pickup from your Da Nang hotel around 1 or 2 PM, then you'll head to Marble Mountains to check out the 19th century pagodas and explore either Huyền Không or Tàng Chơn Caves. From there, stop by local stone sculpture factories to see how craftspeople work with traditional techniques.

Later in the afternoon you'll travel to Hoi An Ancient Town and walk through the historic streets, visiting ancestral temples and well-preserved houses like Phung Hung and Tan Ky.

By evening the Night Market comes alive with lantern decorations, so you'll have time to wander through there. After that, head out on a boat ride along the Hoai River where you can release your own flower lantern.

Dinner features local Hoi An specialties before your return to the hotel.

Overnight in Da Nang

Your day starts with an early pickup from your hotel heading straight to Ba Na Hills. The cable car ride up gives you great views of Da Nang's coastline, and then you'll see the Golden Bridge with those distinctive giant stone hands holding it up.

After checking out Le Jardin D'Amour garden and Linh Ứng Pagoda, another cable car takes you to the French Village where you can walk around the European-style buildings and catch some performances.

Lunch is a buffet spread at a local restaurant. Spend your afternoon at Fantasy Park, which has over 90 games, rides, and attractions all indoors, so you get plenty to do in one spot.

By late afternoon, you're heading back down via cable car to your hotel.

You have free time in Da Nang until your driver picks you up for the airport and your flight to Hanoi. When you arrive, your guide transfers you to your hotel where check-in is available from 2:00 PM.

You'll leave Hanoi early and head south to Ninh Binh, about 120 km away. Once you arrive, explore Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and see the 17th-century temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.

After lunch at a local restaurant, take a boat trip through Trang An's UNESCO landscape, visiting Sang Cave, Toi Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave as you go. Then you'll hike up approximately 500 steps to the top of Mua Cave (Lying Dragon Mountain) for views across the area before heading back to Hanoi.

Pick up from your Old Quarter hotel and drive to Halong Bay for a cruise. After a break in Hai Duong province, you board the Dragon Bay Cruise at Tuan Chau harbor with check-in and safety briefing. Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch happens while cruising past limestone formations, Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor.

Afternoon kayaking through hidden lagoons and caves offers swimming opportunities. There's a sunset party, seafood dinner on board, evening entertainment with games and squid fishing, then an overnight stay on the cruise.

Pack up your cabin and check out, then enjoy time on the bay before lunch and disembarking at Tuan Chau Harbor.

The shuttle bus takes you back to Hanoi, arriving by mid-afternoon. Dinner is on your own at your hotel.
