Day 1: WELCOME TO CAMBODIA - SIEM REAP ARRIVAL

Your Indochina trip begins with your arrival in Siem Reap. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city. You can easily explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.

Day 2: EXPLORE THE MAGNIFICENT ANGKOR WAT

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before exploring the iconic Angkor complex.

  • Begin at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then visit highlights including Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace. Continue to Ta Prohm, the atmospheric temple embraced by giant tree roots and made famous by Tomb Raider.
  • In the afternoon, visit the elegant temples of Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, and Ta Keo, before heading to the magnificent Angkor Wat, renowned for its grandeur and intricate bas-reliefs. End the day with a sunset view from Bakheng Hill, offering panoramic scenery over Angkor and Tonle Sap.

Day 3: SIEM REAP - TRAVEL TO LUANG PRABANG

Enjoy your final moments in Siem Reap before your private driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Laos. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you’ll be warmly welcomed and escorted to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and explore at leisure.

Day 4: VISIT LOCAL VILLAGES AND KHUANGSI WATERFALL

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before beginning a cultural journey through Luang Prabang. Visit Wat Visoun, home to the distinctive “Watermelon Stupa” dating back to 1514, followed by Wat Aham and the iconic Wat Xieng Thong, beautifully set at the meeting point of the Mekong and Khan rivers.

In the afternoon, explore the former Royal Palace—now the National Museum—featuring royal artifacts, before continuing to Wat Mai, known for its intricate golden bas-reliefs. Toward sunset, climb Mount Phousi for panoramic views over the city.

Day 5: LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR

Start your day with breakfast before exploring the cultural highlights of Luang Prabang. Visit Wat Visoun, home to the historic “Watermelon Stupa” dating back to 1514, followed by Wat Aham and the iconic Wat Xieng Thong, set at the scenic confluence of the Mekong and Khan rivers.

Day 6: LUANG PRABANG FLY TO BANGKOK

Have breakfast at the hotel, have free leisure time until there will be a private cab to transfer you to the airport, and be ready for the next flight to Bangkok.

Day 7: BANGKOK - DAMNOEM SADUAK FLOATING MARKET - TEMPLES OF BANGKOK

After breakfast, depart Bangkok for Ratchaburi Province to visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market—one of Thailand’s most iconic experiences. Along the way, stop at a local sugar palm workshop to see how traditional palm sugar is made.

Continue to the pier and enjoy a scenic long-tail boat ride through the canals, passing local homes and daily life along the waterways. At the floating market, watch vendors sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs directly from their boats. You’ll also have the chance to sample local treats like coconut juice and tropical fruits.

In the afternoon, return to Bangkok and explore the vibrant Chinatown area with a visit to Wat Traimit, home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha. Then continue to Wat Pho to see the impressive 45-meter reclining Buddha and learn about the origins of traditional Thai massage.

Day 8: BANGKOK FLY TO HO CHI MINH

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend the day at leisure, with no scheduled activities. Relax or explore at your own pace until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to unwind or discover the city at your own rhythm.

Day 9: MEKONG DELTA EXPLORATION

Depart from the bustling Ho Chi Minh City for My Tho, located along the Mekong River.

  • Upon arrival, visit the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda before boarding a boat to cruise past the four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.
  • Stop at Unicorn Island to stroll through village paths, visit orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits accompanied by traditional folk music. Continue with a hand-rowed sampan ride along Thoi Son Canal, visit a local family workshop and bee farm, and taste honey tea and coconut candy.
  • After lunch at a local restaurant, you can cycle around Tan Thach village to experience local life, or relax in a hammock.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: EXPLORE THE MAZE OF CU CHI TUNNELS

Start: 8:00 AM – End: 2:30 PM

Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network stretching over 220 km and a key historical site from the Vietnam War. Located about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City, this tour offers insight into the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese soldiers.

Depart from your hotel in the morning and enjoy the countryside views along the way. Upon arrival, explore sections of the tunnels, learn about wartime life, and discover hidden chambers. You may also try traditional foods once eaten by soldiers or experience optional activities on-site.

Return to the city in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: HO CHI MINH FLY TO HANOI

Enjoy your remaining time in Ho Chi Minh City before your private transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 11: HANOI - TRAVEL TO NINH BINH

Today, Travel by air-conditioned bus from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

  • Visit Dinh king Temple and Le king Temple from the 10th century, and hear about the heroic histories of the two Kings during the Chinese Wars. At midday, sit down for lunch with Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
  • Continue to Tam Coc and take the sampan go (traditional river boat) along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc's three caves. Head back to Tam Coc wharf, take your bicycle, and cycle around traditional villages and Tam Coc town.
  • Visit Mua cave, which attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps to see all the way to Tam Coc, and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.

In the evening, return Ha Noi.

DAY 12: HANOI - TRAVEL TO HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY

After breakfast you'll head to Halong Bay and board a small junk cruise around noon. You'll swim in the waters at Tra Bau in Lan Ha Bay and try your hand at activities like cooking demonstrations and squid fishing. Meals and drinks happen right on the boat while you take in the scenery around you.

The sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly back toward the port. Enjoy an early lunch before arriving at the port and disembarking. You will be transferred back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.

Day 15: HANOI CITY SUNSET TOUR BY JEEP

This morning you'll hop into a Vietnam Army Jeep for a legendary tour of Hanoi's highlights. The route takes you through the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, French Quarter, and Old Quarter before visiting Long Bien Bridge and Westlake. Along the way, your guide shows you hidden backstreets and local spots where you get a real sense of daily life in the city, seeing how people actually live and work here.

Low Deposit
  • Vietnam Asia Travel DMC requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.
Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 46 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.
