Day 1: WELCOME TO THAILAND - BANGKOK ARRIVAL
Your trip begins with your arrival in Thailand. Your private driver and guide will meet and greet you at the airport. You will be escorted to the hotel by private transportation. Check in to the hotel and get over the jet lag.
You can mooch through the streets of the city. Historic charm, architectural marvels, and various products are splashed all over this area.
After enjoying the first day yourself and return to the hotel for a relaxing sleep.

Day 2: BANGKOK HALF DAY GRAND PALACE AND TEMPLES CITY TOUR
Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for pick up. We will take you through the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to visit Wat Traimit, a visually stunning temple in China Town, and see one of the largest solid gold Buddha (5.5 tones of the precious metal). Continue to visit Wat Po the home of the famous 45-meter reclining Buddha as well as being the original school of traditional Thai massage. Visit The Royal Grand Palace, the nation s landmark and the most revered royal monument. You will see the Palace that was used for different occasions as The Coronation Hall, Funeral Hall, and Royal Guest House, and the mysterious famous Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
Afternoon is free at your leisure.

Day 3: BANGKOK - CHIANG RAI
Upon arrival at Chiang Rai Airport, you will be met and greeted by our driver for your transfer fo city center.
Drive to visit Wat Rong Khun, also known as the "White" Temple. A lifetime project of artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, the temple has a fine blend of traditional Buddhist art with contemporary themes and is decorated with small pieces of mirrored glass which add substantially to its dramatic beauty. Next visit en visit Wat Phra Sing which houses a replica of the Phra Sing Buddha, a highly revered image, as the original was removed from Chiang Mai’s Wat Phra Singh.; Wat Phra Keow which once, during the 13th century, housed the Emerald Buddha now in Bangkok. Next enjoy a pleasant tour including the Trishaw ride, the favorite local mode of transportation back to hotel.

Day 4: CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Sop Ruak (Golden Triangle), to see the viewpoint of the Golden Triangle where the Mekong River converges Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. Visit the Hall of Opium (closed on Mondays), an impressive and informative museum that documents the history of the area and details ts links to the opium trade. Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to Chiang Mai.
Day 5: CHIANG MAI LEISURE - OPTIONAL TOUR WITH ELEPHANT
Have a leisure day in Chiang Mai or take an optional tour.
OPTIONAL TOUR:
HALF DAY ELEPHANT SANCTUARY WITH LUNCH
Morning visit : 06:30-12:30
- 07:00 Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.
- 08:30 Arrive at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Walk through and learn about the elephants, change into traditional Karen clothing and make medicine for the elephants.
- 09:00 Meet the elephants. Feed, give medicine, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.
- 09:45 Mud Spa with the elephants 10:30 Walk with the elephants to a river and bathe them.
- 11:30 Eat a traditional meal and then say goodbye to the elephants.
- 12:00 Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.

Day 6: CHIANG MAI - FLY TO HANOI
Breakfast at Hotel. Enjoy your free time until transfer (Private, with an English-speaking guide) to Chiang Mai International Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at Noi Bai International Airport and will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh ( Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Caves)
Today, Travel by air-conditioned bus from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.
- Visit Dinh king Temple and Le king Temple from the 10th century, and hear about the heroic histories of the two Kings during the Chinese Wars. At midday, sit down for lunch with Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
- Continue to Tam Coc and take the sampan go (traditional river boat) along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc's three caves. Head back to Tam Coc wharf, take your bicycle, and cycle around traditional villages and Tam Coc town.
- Visit Mua cave, which attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps to see all the way to Tam Coc, and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.
In the evening, return Ha Noi.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 8: HANOI - TRAVEL TO HALONG BAY - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE
In the morning, check out of the hotel, and get picked up by the Cruise team. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see.
On arrival at the pier, you will board the cruise and enjoy the fantastic views of limestone rocks and the karst grottoes. Have an utterly delicious seafood lunch and enjoy the time at the sundeck exploring the Bay.
The cruise will stop in a secret place where you will spend time kayaking or swimming, so you can explore the karst grottoes closer. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax.
Overnight on cruise.
Day 9: HALONG BAY - BACK TO HANOI
Rise early today to view the sunrise at the wonder of nature with breakfast served in the dining room. A Tai Chi class on the sun deck will awaken your mind and muscles.
Then head off to visit the limestone cave full of stalagmites and stalactites, after your exploration return to the boat to check out and enjoy the brunch while the cruise is sailing back to the harbor. Later you will be transferred to your accommodation in Hanoi.

Day 10: HANOI - FLY TO HO CHI MINH
Have breakfast at the hotel, have a free leisure time until there will be a private cab transfer you to the airport, and ready for the next flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 11: HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA TOUR
Morning: After breakfast, meet your guide and head to Cai Be for a deep dive into the river life of Southern Vietnam. This excursion is a highlight of your Vietnam Package Tour, offering a stark contrast to the city’s hustle. Board a private boat to navigate the legendary Mekong River, exploring narrow, orchard-lined canals where life moves at a peaceful pace.
Afternoon: Visit local workshops to see how rice popcorn, coconut caramel, and rice cakes are traditionally made. Your Vietnam itinerary 8 days continues with a biking or walking tour through quiet village paths to the ancient Phu Chau Pagoda. Day 12: Saigon's Historic Landmarks & Hidden Charm
Start your journey with a visit to the iconic Saigon Central Post Office, built between 1886 and 1891. Designed by French architect Foulhoux, its vaulted ceiling and wrought iron framework are hallmarks of industrial architecture and remain a beloved symbol of the city. If available, enjoy a chat with Mr. Duong, a local legend known for his talent in crafting heartfelt love letters.
Continue your walk along Dong Khoi Street—formerly rue Catinat—and visit Gia Long Palace. Stroll along Le Loi Street to meet a local artisan who specializes in traditional Vietnamese engravings.
Next, explore the old central market (with vehicle support available), then head to one of the city’s oldest colonial-era apartments, built in 1886. Here, discover a vibrant hub of modern Vietnamese creativity, from trendy boutiques to cozy coffee shops. Pause for a drink and meet a long-time resident who has lived here since 1975.
Wrap up the tour with a look at the historic Banque de l’Indochine building, a stunning example of the East-meets-West “Indochinois” architectural style.

- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC allows you to make 45 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 45 days before the start of the tour.
- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform Vietnam Asia Travel DMC, 30 days before departure.
- Vietnam Asia Travel DMC requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.
